What is the Crucible?POPULAR
It is our name for how we decide what is worth posting, and it is really the whole business. Five steps: our whole network of editors cuts your video at once, so we get thousands of versions instead of thirty. A person then watches every single one and throws out the weak ones. What survives gets tested against brain-response models. The winners go out on the network rather than rented influencer accounts. And we release them in a planned order over several weeks instead of all at once. About one clip in thirty-eight makes it through. Full explanation here.
What is the Verdict?POPULAR
It is our scoring layer, and it is the number that decides whether a clip gets published. Every clip that survives human review is scored from 0 to 100 on how deeply a viewer is likely to process it, and how quickly, by estimating predicted cortical response from the video, audio and language together. It is not a measure of how well a clip is made. A clip can be beautifully cut and score 29 because nothing engages past the visual cortex. We publish above 61. What moves the number is proprietary.
Will you tell us the scoring rubric?
No, and we would rather be upfront about that. We will happily explain all five steps and you will see every result in full: every clip, where it ran, and what it did. What we will not hand over is exactly what we score on, which pages sit in the network, or how we plan a release order. That is the part a competitor could copy in a week, and the moment it is public it stops working for everyone using it, including you.
Why produce 12,000 clips to publish 300?
Because you can only pick a great clip if there are great clips to pick from. Out of thirty edits, the best you can possibly get is the best of thirty. Out of twelve thousand, your odds are completely different. Making the extra clips costs us, not you. On a normal per-view deal you end up funding every flop, because the agency gets paid to post everything.
What does “the network” actually mean?
It means the pages your clips appear on belong to Vanguard. We spent years building them and they have real audiences on them. The practical benefit is simple: when we say a campaign launches Tuesday, it launches Tuesday. There is no influencer to chase, no rate to renegotiate halfway through, and no post going up three days late. Our 250,000 vetted clippers post alongside these channels to widen the reach, but the main ones are ours.
What is clipping infrastructure?POPULAR
Clipping infrastructure turns your long-form content into short clips and distributes them at scale. You will see the same category called a clipping agency or a clipping service, but the models are not the same. Most companies make a set number of clips and post them all. We do something different: 250,000+ editors cut your video at once, a person reviews every single clip, the survivors are scored 0 to 100 on our The Verdict, and only the best get posted, on the network, in a planned order.
How is this different from paid ads or influencer marketing?
Ads stop the second you stop paying, and an influencer rents you one voice and one audience per post. We make a huge amount of content, keep only the small share that passes review and brain-response testing, and post it on the network in a planned order. It keeps working after a campaign ends, because the channels stay ours and we learn more about your market each round.
What platforms do you distribute on?
TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X. The network covers all four, and we choose which platform each clip goes to individually rather than blindly posting everything everywhere.
What content works best: podcasts, YouTube videos or long-form?
Any long video: podcasts, YouTube uploads, webinars, livestreams, AMAs, interviews, product demos. What matters is how much is actually happening, not how long it runs. A punchy one-hour podcast gives us far more to work with than a slow two-hour keynote. If you have nothing to cut from, we film the source ourselves and the process runs exactly the same.
Do you create content if we have none?
Yes. If you have nothing to cut from, we make the source footage first, whether that is scripted shorts, faceless formats or creator-filmed content, and then run the same five steps on it.
How do we know the clips are actually reviewed?POPULAR
Because you get the paper trail. Every clip we made, whether it passed, and why it was cut, all sit in your dashboard. You can look through the 11,690 that did not make it as easily as the 310 that did. Anyone who only spot-checks a sample simply cannot show you that.
Are the views real, or bots?
Real. This is much easier for us than for most companies because the network is ours. Nobody in the chain gets paid more for a bigger number, so there is nothing to game. Traffic still goes through a fraud filter before it reaches your report.
Is Vanguard legit?
Yes. 12B+ verified views delivered across 95+ enterprise campaigns for brands including Binance, NVIDIA, Meta, PlayStation and Xbox. Every engagement runs on a live dashboard with a full audit trail, and references are available on request.
Is this safe for my brand and my accounts?
It is about as safe as this gets. Nothing goes out without a person reviewing it, everything runs on the network rather than your accounts, and we never ask for your logins. Your official accounts are never touched.
Who owns the clips and the data?
You own every clip we make for you and all of your performance data, and you can export it whenever you like. We keep our method and the structure of the network. There is nothing in the contract designed to trap you.
How fast can we launch?
Your video goes out to the network within 24 hours of the brief. Because thousands of editors work at once, the clips are usually all back within 48 hours, and the first ones go live somewhere between day three and day five. Ongoing clients get a pre-approved fast lane for live moments, where we can turn something around in under 15 minutes.
What reporting do we get?
A live dashboard from day one showing every clip we made, which ones were cut and why, how the survivors scored, how each channel performed, verified views, how long people watched, and profile clicks. Above $25,000 a month you also get a written summary every week.
Which brands is Vanguard for?
Brands in crypto, fintech, SaaS, AI, iGaming, consumer apps and entertainment who want this running permanently rather than as a one-off push. We run dedicated programmes for Web3 launches, SaaS and AI tools, licensed operators, consumer apps, music, podcasts and founder brands.
How do we measure this?
Views, watch time and profile clicks are the surface numbers. The one that matters more is what happens downstream: people searching your brand name and typing your URL directly, which usually shows up four to eight weeks later. If you judge this on last-click conversions in a seven-day window, you will cancel it about a month before it starts working.
How is this priced?POPULAR
It is a monthly fee, not a per-view charge. You are paying for the selection work and for access to the network, so the price depends on how long the campaign runs, how much of the network it uses, how complicated your category is, and how much footage we are reviewing. It starts at $5,000 a month, most clients sit between $15,000 and $50,000, and the largest run past $200,000. We will give you your number free on a call.
Why not just charge a CPM?POPULAR
Because paying per view pays an agency to post as much as possible, and that is exactly why the internet is full of terrible clips. Our whole model depends on throwing most of our work away. You cannot do both under the same invoice.
What is the minimum to get started?
$5,000 a month. Below that we cannot make enough clips for the selection to mean anything, so you would be paying for the name without the thing that makes it work. If you are under that, we will say so on the call instead of taking your money.
Are there contracts or retainers?
It runs month to month and you can stop at the end of any month. Longer commitments only exist where a campaign genuinely runs across quarters, and they are always optional. Nothing auto-renews behind your back.
